Engagement

Thomas Jefferson Memorial Engagement / Tadal Basin, Washington DC

March 31, 2026

Rosie and Max chose a perfect day for their engagement session at the Tidal Basin in Washington, DC. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom, painting the landscape in shades of pink and white. These flowers only last a short time, making this moment extra special.

As they walked hand in hand, the blossoms gently swayed in the breeze. It was like the whole world was celebrating their love. The sunlight filtered through the petals, creating a soft glow.

We began by taking some candid shots. Rosie laughed as Max twirled her around. Their joy was contagious, and the blooming trees made the moment feel even more alive. Next, we moved to the water’s edge. The reflection of the trees in the water created a stunning backdrop.

At the Tidal Basin, the beauty of nature complemented their connection. I captured them sharing sweet moments. Sometimes they would pause to admire the view, lost in their own world.

The trees provided shade, creating a peaceful atmosphere. Here, we took some thoughtful portraits. Each photo revealed a bit more of their relationship.

Their engagement photos weren’t just pictures. They were memories of a beautiful day. Days like this remind us how love and nature can come together to create something unforgettable. The Tidal Basin will always hold a special place in their hearts. With memories of cherry blossoms in bloom, Rosie and Max will cherish these moments years to come.
