This one has been a long time coming. Dover Hall has been on my radar for years, and finally getting to collaborate with other talented creatives within its walls did not disappoint.
From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear that Dover Hall is unlike anywhere else. The richly carved woodwork, ornate wallpapered suites, sweeping crystal chandeliers, and that iconic wrought iron spiral staircase, every corner of this estate feels like it was designed to be photographed. We leaned fully into the editorial romance the space so naturally lends itself to, letting the architecture do as much of the storytelling as our beautiful models.
We worked through distinct bridal looks and moods throughout the session. The first was clean and modern, a sleek, fitted gown paired with a dramatic veil and a show stopping cascading calla lily bouquet that felt both sculptural and unexpected. The second took on something more ethereal, a flowing cape gown that felt right at home against the estate’s hunting room and the vintage car waiting just outside the entrance.
Getting to capture that final shot in front of Dover Hall’s facade with a classic vintage automobile was the perfect finishing touch, cinematic, timeless, and exactly the kind of image I had been dreaming of making here.
Editorial sessions like this are truly some of my favorite work, and Dover Hall absolutely delivered. It was everything I hoped for, and then some.
